FRUIT MACHINE CITY
WELCOME!
Firstly, let me welcome you to the secret pages of FRUIT MACHINE CITY and thankyou for joining!

With my help, hopefully you can begin to turn those deficits into healthy profit, and begin to devise a winning strategy for yourself. Remember although winning is important, equally so is avoiding loss!

To help you to succeed in profiting, as promised I will go through everything from the most basic of information first of all, to enable the more inexperienced players to fully understand how and when to play, in order to maximise profit and minimise loss. ( My apologies to the 98% of members who will already be totally familiar with all these terms, so please feel free to skip to the bottom of the page and click on the links to the guides and emptiers!)
Understanding the Machine

BACKING -

A fruit machine holds 125 in 1 coins in its hopper. Each coin deposited once the hopper is full will fall down the back of the machine and into the cashbox. As the coins drop down the back this empty, crashing sound informs the player that the machine is full. Once a machine (especially Barcrest and BWB) is backing, then there is a much higher chance of success. I would advise my more inexperienced members to try and stick to machines that are backing or back within 5-10. I generally( depending on the make of machine obviously) pump 10 straight in before even using a credit, if it backs and its showing signs of life or a streak then i`ll play to earn, if not i`ll try to recoup most of the 10 put in.

REFILLS -

Be wary of these as the machine that has just been refilled can be a nightmare if played wrongly. Although it may well be backing, the machine may be well below its percentage, and if you`re pushing for the streak then you`ll be punished. Take note of the number on the dial in the top left or right corner of the machine. This should increase each time a refill takes place. Generally, pubs etc refill their machines at regular intervals (for example, might be every monday morning, or the first saturday of every month) so get to know and steer clear. Thankfully, the majority of the time though, if its been refilled you will spot it, as the features will be playing awful and the machine won`t be showing any good signs even though it is backing.

REFILL KEYS -

Refill keys can be an invaluable tool. For maximum effectiveness, use on barcrest machines to get the current balance on screen. Simply insert the key into the key hole just below the start button and above the payout mech. With a simple quarter turn to the right you can gauge whether a machine has just been stung for a streak, or whether it`s worth pushing for it yourself. Although refill keys don`t guarantee success, they will certainly indicate when not to play.
p.s. To all those members who have purchased a refill key from me, please be discreet when using, as although you aren`t doing anything illegal, the arcade/pub will definately bar you. Also, quick tip, never insert money whilst the key is actually turned to the right in the machine, as the refill alarm will sound.

DISCRETION -

Be discreet - all pubs/arcades love a loser, but not that many love a winner. If like I was, you are entering the same places each day and taking a 45 streak, before long you will have every movement you make scrutinised and this will make it harder to use your key. As you hit the streaks, keep taking 5-10 out of the bank, so that you`re not simply collecting a straight 45-60 out of the machine and walking. Believe me before long you will get noticed, and if you continue to win they will ban you. They don`t need a reason, simply winning can be enough, as I have found out at my cost on many occasions.

WHICH MACHINES TO PLAY/AVOID -

If like many people I see out and about on my travels, you insist on playing every machine you come across, you will consistently be at a loss. Try to stick to machines that you have information and a strategy for, and the vast majority of the time you will succeed. I always find when I visit somewhere new, that a quick tour of all the likely locations is the best tactic. I simply make a list of any machines that I would play, by bobbing my head into certain places as if looking for friends. Once I had the locations of which machines I would play, only then would I go back and start to play. I would also try to evaluate which would be the more likely locations for gain. For instance, you may well have more success on a Temple of Treasure in a country bumpkin pub (where no one has a clue of the features or streaks) rather than a Frenzy in the local arcade (where it probably doesn`t get a penny put back in for a week after a streak).
For the more inexperienced of players i would suggest sticking in the meantime to Barcrest and BWB machines until your experience and skills develop.
This is simply because Barcrest and BWB are progressive machines, ie the wins keep increasing (so long as nothing is collected!) until the streak is ignited. Also there is little skill involved - just push for a Jackpot, and even if you miss it, it doesn`t do much harm as there`s usually one just round the corner to make up for it. 5-Liner and Hi-Roller can be good earners for novices too, as although there is a degree of skill required to maximise profit, the signs of how they are playing are quite easy to read. I say stick to these machines at first, as other more random feature machines like Impulse, Ace and some JPM`s can be very expensive, if you`re missing wins and/or reading the signs wrong. For the actual strategies and signs see the guides for the specific machines which are in the links below.

WHERE AND WHEN TO PLAY -

Obviously you all know where to play fruit machines, (arcades/ pubs/ bookmakers/ clubs/ bowling alleys etc.)but where to play to gain more consistent profit is the important factor. Arcades can be great ( a wealth of more recent machines on offer, no need to buy a drink and change readily available), but if you`re quite new to the game, these can be very expensive locations. If you think logically about it, the majority of those found in arcades have a decent idea how to play the machines, they see when a machine has been refilled, they notice if someone has just taken a 60+ streak out and they`ll see if someone has just lost a fortune in one. As you can imagine then, it can be quite difficult to simply walk into one (especially local ones with little traffic apart from your regulars and resident addicts) and streak all the machines in there. As mentioned above, I find more remote sites to be most profitable. They get streaked much less( as often no-one has a clue how to play them) but on the other hand they take a lot longer to recover from a streak as they don`t get the traffic of places such as major pubs or arcades. Wherever you decide to play though, you need a strategy and some sort of formation if you are to succeed. Firstly, once a machine has been streaked the machine generally wants the payout back and a good 15-30 before it is ready to streak again. As you can imagine though, if you were to streak a machine for say 45 and walk, even if 60-70 has gone back into the machine, it isn`t necessarily going to be ready for the streak, as although some guys may well have put that amount in, no doubt 20-40 in small wins will have been collected somewhere down the line. If I come back to a machine that I have streaked previously, I would be looking for the bank to have gone up a good 50, or Ive just watched some guy plough 70-80 (whilst collecting the small wins and pocketing them) in without taking the streak. Obviously, when I play I`m generally just pushing for the streak, so it will come a lot quicker as I`m not taking decent wins and knocking the streak back.
Each location will need a different recouperation time after a streak and you need to work this out. Obviously, this will depend on the amount of traffic that location will get, and whether there are any players who frequent there. Many times I have streaked a machine around Friday tea time in the town centre pubs or bowling alleys, only for it to be filled up and within a couple of quid of the streak first thing next morning. I often try to get to my locations early on if possible, as often some idiot has piled a load of money in just before closing time, and has had to cut and run as they were shutting up. This way its more likely that the machine wasn`t streaked by any watching sharks at the time as they wouldn`t have had time either.
Also, don`t be afraid to just sit and watch for a while, even if the machines free when you enter. If you wait til someone has a play, you`ll have a much better idea of how its playing, if its backing etc. Now and again, you`ll miss out as someone will have a go and streak it within a few quid, and you`ll think "bollocks, why didn`t I just have a couple in it!?!". At the end of the day though, you didn`t lose a penny and believe me though, if you`re patient there will be many more occasions where the guy will lose a stack ( or you`ll see distinctive signs of a payout but he`ll just collect 2-3 and cut his losses) and you`ll be able to hop on and streak it, than the other way around! One last point, once you`ve taken the streak or the payout - walk! Don`t go pushing for a few more pounds as 9 times out of 10 you`ll end up losing all your profit. You won`t always win on a machine, so when you do you need to maximise the profit, and when you do lose make sure you minimise the loss, this way you will earn well.

Anyway, enough of this informational talk, let`s get on to the machine guides and emptiers!!( See links below!)
